Basketball!

Here is Dean playing with the basketball and hoop that GPK & GMK got him! You should see him now, he likes to throw all of his stuffed animals into the hoop...kind of funny actually.

Tee Ball!

Dean had a play date (thank you Marissa, Phillip, Ford and Jack!) the week GPK & GMK were visiting. Dean really liked playing with Ford and his sports equipment that GPK & GMK thought it would be nice for him to have similar equipment here at the house for him to practice and play with. Thank you GPK & GMK for all the fun stuff! He really loves playing with them!

FORE!!!!!!!!

GPK & GMK got Dean a few sport toys to play with, some in the yard and one inside. They gave him a mini golf set, a tee ball set and a basketball hoop with a ball. Here are a few pictures of GPK (the golfer) teaching Dean how to hit the ball.

Three Generations Of Kruses

The last time we had all three Kruse boys together was last year but for some reason we didn't take a picture. This year I managed to get one! The first picture was taken when Dean was about 6 weeks old. Here Dean is 23 1/2 months old and loving life!

GPK & GMK At The Park!

The weather was so beautiful when GPK & GMK visited that we took advantage and went to the park. Dean wanted to hold both of their hands the entire time. Look at the way he looks up at GPK, isn't that cute?!

GPK & GMK Visit From Washington State!

Grandpa Kruse (GPK) and Grandma Kruse (GMA) came in from Washington State for a visit! It didn't take Dean long at all to get use to them and start having a blast! He loved sitting on GPK's lap and rolling the ball back and forth. Then he started running back and forth to the Grandparents for hugs. My favorite picture is of GPK playing with Dean's legs.

ICE CREAM!!!!

After the park Aunt K.K. treated us all to a wonderful Mother's Day ice cream run! Da Da got a soft serve cone, Aunt K.K. and Dean got the same thing: Daiquiri Ice and I was able to enjoy a scoop of chocolate peanut butter. YUM! I love the picture of Da Da, Aunt K.K. and Dean!

Sunday Afternoon At The Park Blowing Bubbles!

Dean loves chasing bubbles! Here he is with Da Da and Aunt K.K. at the park!

Mix Match With Purple Slippers!

This picture cracks me up. Dean's Aunt K.K. came to visits for Mother's Day weekend. She gave me a pair of purple fuzzy slippers and even managed to find a smaller size for Dean! He loves them so much and whenever he sees me walking around in mine he runs to his room and wants me to put his on. CUTE! Thank you Aunt K.K.! Oh and Dean can officially say "Aunt K.K.!"...although whenever he recites his alphabet he gets to the letter J and then immediately screams "K K!!!!!!"....how funny!

Grilled Cheese!

I was making grilled cheese sandwiches for Da Da and myself when Dean ran to his high chair and yelled "mer mer!" (comer = to eat). So I gave him mine. Yep, he ate it all up and had another one after that! He protested when I started to cut it in pieces, so here he is eating it big boy style.

Shaving Time!

That time of the year again: time to shave the boys! Although they don't really like getting their baths, they sure do love getting shaved!

Guitar Lessons With Da Da

Sometimes Da Da likes to take out his guitar and start strumming. Dean loves this because it means he gets to strum it for Da da! I love the way Dean crosses his feet during his lessons. So cute!

Apple Sauce!

Dean is getting a bit picky lately as to what he wants to eat for dinner. This night he only wanted apple sauce and he wanted to eat it himself. I was not about to argue with him and let him do it. Much to my surprise he only got some of it on his shirt. Unfortunately the next day he got it all over the place...so much for having a clean child.
I love the first picture. You can't tell but he was also saying "mmmmmm" when he was eating it.

Dean's First Sandwich

This was taken about a month ago. Sorry for the delay. One day Dean decided that he wanted my sandwich. Much to our surprise he ate it all! Here he is with his own sandwich. YUM! (oh and the sandwich is chicken cold cuts and cheese with a little bit of fat free mayo on potato bread, yum!)
